Eyebrow Pencils
I've tried various eyebrow pencils, all in the hopes of finding one that was cost-friendly, easy to apply and didn't look like I just Sharpie-ed my own eyebrows. I've tried eyebrow powders, eyebrow gels and eyebrow pencils in various brown - dark grey shades, hoping to match my black hair.
Here are my thoughts:
The Rimmel London Eyebrow Pencil is probably, if not the most popular drugstore eyebrow pencil. There's a limited shade range of 3 various browns (I've used 2 of them when my hair was dyed brown and lighter brown haha). It's a good pencil but not something I would use if I'm looking for something natural.
The Koji, Spring Heart Lasting Eyebrow Pencil only comes in 2 shades, Brown and Dark Brown. I've gone through 2 of these babies because they're so long-lasting and cheap. I haven't gone back to them because the texture (tip of the pencil) is hard and not easy to blend.
The Etude House Drawing Eyebrow Pencil in #5 Gray was my holy grail pencil for 2 years, I finally found an affordable eyebrow pencil that was suitable for black hair! The colour payoff was strong and the pencil was smooth and easy to use. Not only that, it was also only $5-$6CDN! I purchased mine (total of 3 or 4) from eBay.
The FaceShop Eyebrow pencil is what I've been wearing on a daily basis. I picked it up from my local FaceShop for about $4-$5 a year or two ago. This eyebrow pencil also gives good colour payoff but it's not as strong as Etude House; which is better for me. I can easily apply this without worrying about looking like I just used Black Marker on my eyebrows.

The only complaint I have is that I found the formula is be a little oily, it's easy to apply too much (and look like you've Sharpie-ed your own eyebrows in) and I would need to set my eyebrows with a translucent powder.

I enjoy this formula better as well, I don't need to set this with a powder but I do find myself needing to reapply at the end of the day (maybe I just touch my face a lot), which I personally don't mind.

Being a Pessimist
The older I get, the more I realize how easy it is to be negative. I found myself being more of a pessimist and bringing my negativity everywhere. If we bring our burden of stress from school or from work around, doesn't it snowball into a bigger ball or stress, anger, anxiety and negativity?
It's so easy to spread negativity and to push your anger on others when you're in a bad state of mind but often you have to step back and look at the bigger picture.
How does this negativity reflect on my character? How is my negativity hurting those who love and care about me?

It's important to step back and look at the bigger picture and remind yourself, it is easier to love than to hate.

Intro...
A little welcome to my blog that has been awfully neglected in the past 2 years of it's creation.
I realized planning every meticulous detail often does not work, this blog and my own life as an example. Sometimes you cannot wait to perfect something, instead you must embrace the work-in-progress status of it.
I am excited to share the interests and hobbies of a 20 year old girl who has an undying passion for dogs and all things beauty with those who come across this lifestyle blog.
